Set The Table: Episode 12 – Listener Question & Outcomes For Bad Rolls

Jack answers a listener question directed at him, and we get some awesome insight about building player characters! It takes way longer than we think but we do get into our discussion about outcomes for bad rolls, which we got the idea for from an earlier episode featuring an example of a player tripping over a nail in the floor.

Join us as we talk about a handful of other scenarios where a natural 1 or natural 20 doesn’t always mean what you think it might, how failing can be succeeding in different ways, avoiding gamebreaking rolls, and how thinking about die rolls in a more abstract way can improve your narration! It’s a good one folks!
