A weight
I can’t
get off
my chest
to awake
is to
rise up
get out
of bed
it holds
me down
with it’s
heavy things
muffles the
sound no
angels sing
hope struggles
to thrive
within me
when all
around it’s
dark that
I see
but there
is some
else I’d
be done
so here
I am
writing this
a poem
so if
you’re out
there at
home like
me you’re
not alone.
