Set The Table: Episode 16 – Non-Player Characters (NPCs)

In this episode, John and Jack finally talk about NPCs. What you need as a baseline, how to create them, and how we each differ in the level of detail and amount of time we spend working on our NPCs.

We give a few tips for how to handle players interacting with NPCs, and how NPCs can make or break a game, as well as some time-management tips as they relate to your creative needs for your game.

Jack finally plugs something he’s doing! So here’s the link (as promised) to the Gamemeisters blog, where you can read about Drow from a serious Drow enthusiast: https://gamemeisters.com/archives/309
